Grade 5 & 6 - Integrated Studies

Grade 5 and 6s have been busily working in the Integrated room. Our topic in class changed from 'Living Things' to 'States of Matter'. To finish off the living things unit, grade 5 students made cells as part of their project. Students ate some of the delicious edible cells, while we keep the other cell models to be displayed at our Science Show. Great effort to all our students.

Grade 5 and 6s also hosted the Science Show with the support of Mr. Helou and some students from year 10. There were a variety of spectacular experiments during the show: exploding volcano, hand on fire, blow fire and elephant toothpaste were only a few from the amazing experiments conducted by our students. Congratulations to all the scientists of grade 5 and 6 and special thanks to Mr. Helou and year 10 students, who helped make this show a success.
